This is a story that I wrote a few years ago, I decided to put it on by blog because it’s the probably the best story I’ve writen.
Also keep in mind this was originally going to be a 500 word story.
The Adventures Of
Cookie Land

Once upon a time there was three boys camping in the woods Daniel , Broden and Lachlan and they just got the fire started.
“Woo we did it, marshmallow time,” said Daniel.
“Yay,” they all said together.
“How much marshmallows do we have,” said Lachlan.
“Twenty seven packets,” said Daniel.
“So thats what you stuffed your bags with,” said Broden.
“Lets get them out,” said Daniel.
“Woohoo,” they all said together.
For the next 2 hours they sat there cooking and eating marshmallows.
“Mmmmmmm delicious how much more marshmallows do we have now,” said Lachlan.
“Twenty six and a half packets,” said Daniel
“How big are these packets,” said Broden
“Two tons of marshmallows per packet,” said Daniel.
Broden and Lachlan were speechless.
“I’m still hungry,” said Broden
“Me too,” said Lachlan
“Same here, ill get the cookies out,” said Daniel
Broden licks his lips they eat half of the packet and come across a different cookie. It is glowing gold and the choc chips have a delicious goldy-brown
colour.
“HAWTHORN COOKIE!” Broden shouts excitedly and gobles it down quickly.
“Mmmmmmmmmmmm best cookie ever,” said Broden
“Hey look at this,” said Daniel.
He picks up a white mouldy cookie with black old choc chips.
“Collingwood cookie,” said Lachlan.
Broden throws up instantly and screams at the top of his lungs like a girl!
Lachlan and Daniel laugh their heads off. Then the black and white cookie blows up and some weird purple smoke comes out and goes into Broden’s spew and it hardens up in a circle!
“What on earth just happened,” said Daniel.
“I have no clue said Broden but that cookie was scary, I think im going to have nightmares for years,” said Broden.
“I think I need to go to sleep,” said Lachlan.
“Agreed,” said Daniel.
“Yeah good idea,” said Broden.
They hop into their sleeping bags and get comfy .
“Good night guys,” said Daniel.
“Good night,” said lachlan
“Good night good night good ni…”
“BRODEN stop it, you’re wasting words,” said Daniel
“We only have about one hundred and fifty words left to get to cookie land and…”
“DANIEL don’t spoil the story,” said Lachlan.
“We have limited words?” said Broden.
They close their eyes and slowly drift off
to wake up to an extremely weird situation.
“Ah guys remember how Broden through up last night,” said Daniel.
“Yeah,” said Broden.
“I thought that was a dream,” said Lachlan.
“ Yeah well it’s now a portal,”said Daniel.
“Well what am I doing here” said Broden as he jumps in.
“Uh-oh,” said lachlan.
“Well it’s up to us to get him back,”said Daniel.
“Here goes nothing,” said Lachlan.
“Yup,”said Daniel.
They jump in and come out on the other side.
“There you are broden,”said Daniel.
Broden is stuffing his face with cookies.
“What,”he says with his mouth full.
“Well we need to find a way out now,”said Lachlan.
“Do we have to?”groans Broden.
“Hey I think I…wait a minute that’s five hundred words
what are we going to do,”said Daniel.
“I think theres only one thing left to do”said Lachlan.
“What,” said Daniel.
“T-t-t-t-t-the end,”
“Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo,”said Broden and Daniel together.
“Wait i’ve got an idea,”said broden.
“What now?” said Daniel.
“We continue,”said Broden.
“Good idea,” said Daniel.
“Well go on,” said Broden.
“I think I can see something in the distance,”said Daniel.
“It’s a village,”said Lachlan.
“A cookie village.”
“Well lets go,” said Daniel.
They walk down to the village and get quite a surprise.
“Well we’re here,”said Daniel.
“They have a footy oval,”said Broden as he ran off to play footy.
“Well let’s go ask if around if there’s a way to get out,” said Daniel.
He walks up to a house and knocks then the door opens and a man is standing there but not any man, it’s a cookie man.
“Um can I help you,” said the cookie man.
“Err yeah,” said Daniel.
“Do you know a way out of cookie land?”
“What do you mean, cookie land is all there is,” said the cookie man.
“Actually there’s a dimension it’s where I come from,”said Daniel.
“Yeah I was about to say,” said the cookie man.
“But sorry I know nothing about this dimension stuff.”
Daniel and Lachlan ask around for about an hour but collect no information until they come across a different house. The man inside tells them that he has seen a vision, that a giant cookie dinosaur will attack the village tomorrow and the ones that defeat him will be granted with each with a super cookie a cookie that can be eaten infinitely and can teleport the holder to and from cookie land. The boys think he’s crazy but it worth a try they go get Broden and tell him that they have to go. They get a hotel room and settle down.
“So whats the plan?”said Broden.
“Well according to the crazy cookie man tomorrow we have to kill a cookie dinosaur and then we get super cookies that take us back to the real world,”said Lachlan.
“Wait did you say there was a cookie man,” said Broden.
“Yup,” said Daniel.
“This place just keeps getting weirder and weirder,” said Broden.
“It’s normal compared to you,” said Daniel.
“Oh ha ha ha,” said Broden sycasicly.
“Ok guys lets get some sleep we’ve got a big day tomorrow,” said Lachlan.
“Yeah good night guys,”said Daniel.
“Good night,” said Lachlan.
“Good night good night good ni… so you’re not going to stop me,” said Broden.
“Seriously Broden,” said Daniel.
Broden giggles. Not much longer they’re all fast asleep.
Light hits cookie land the day starts cookie people are out on there way to work. The boys wake up, leave the hotel go to the crazy cookie mans house.
“Hello again boys you ready for a big fight,” he said.
“Yeah,” they all say at the same time.
“Jinx,”said Broden.
“Anyway take these swords,” the crazy cookie man hands them some cookie swords.
“They are made out of cookite the strongest metal ever,” “What about steel,” said Broden
“What about What?!” said the crazy cookie man.
“Anyway the dinosaur should be here in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1…”
The man gets interrupted by a huge crashing sound followed by a ROAR!!!
“But how did you know,”said Broden.
“Less talk more fight,” said the crazy cookie man.
The boys ready their weapons for battle.
The cookie dinosaur has four eyes one big one above three smaller ones.
“We’ll take out one each then get the big one together.” Said Daniel.
“Ok I’ll take the right,” said Lachlan.
“I’ll get the left,” said Broden.
“Then I’ll get the middle one,” said Daniel
The fight begins when Broden distracts the dinosaur from the front while Daniel climbs up one of it’s legs and Lachlan runs up its tail and onto its back. Lachlan reaches his eye first and slays it with his sword. Shortly after he is followed by Daniel.
Then Broden climbs on a roof and jumps on to the dinosaur stabbing the third eye. Then all on the face of the dinosaur they ready their swords and stab the big eye all at the same time killing the dinosaur and jumping off of it. The dinosaur shrieks in horror and falls landing on King Cookieman’s castle.
“Sorry,” shouts Daniel.
“Don’t worry cookie land is safe that’s all I want,” he replies.
The dinosaur lays there dead, still, without movement.The crazy cookie man ran to us.
“Go over and look where the eyes were” he said.
We look over where the eyes were they were gone but instead there was a cookie in each eye.
“A super cookie,” Daniel whispers underneath his breath.
They pick one up each.
“What about the fourth one?” said Daniel
“I’ll take that one,” Said the crazy cookie man.
“Ok guys you ready to go home,”said Daniel
“As ready as I’ll ever be,”said Broden.
“Sure am,” said Lachlan.
“Well here we go,”said Daniel.
They use their super cookies and return to the camp.
“I think I need to go home,”said Daniel.
“So do I,”said Lachlan.
“Must play football,”said Broden.
So the story ends there where the the three heros of cookie land pack up the camp and return back to their homes so Broden can play football, Lachlan can play video games and Daniel can sleep.
